چکیده
In this paper, an integrated system to control and manage a state-of-the-art industrial computer numerical (CNC) machine (Studer S33) using commercially available tablet (Samsung Galaxy Tablet S2) is presented as proof of concept (PoC) for the ubiquitous machines. As PoC, proposed provides useful insights support further development full-fledged systems Industrial Internet Things (IIoT) applications. The allows quasi-decentralisation architecture conventional programmable logic controller (PLC)-based (ICSs) through data information exchange over transmission protocol internet (TCP/IP) suite multiple agents. Based on TCP/IP suite, network device process field net (PROFINET) (Siemens Simatic S7-1200) are interfaced single-board (Raspberry Pi 4). An override mainly comprising emergency stop acknowledge buttons also configured computer. input signals from transmitted PROFINET (i.e., unit (ICU)) TCP/IP. A fully functional working prototype realised PoC designated wireless CNC machine. entity comprises mobile (handheld) touch-sensitive human-machine interface (HMI), shielded computer, system, all fitted into compact case with physical dimensions 300 mm by 180 175 mm. To avert potential cyber attacks or threats reasonable extent guarantee security multi-factor authentication (MFA) including administrative password IP address implemented access web-based HMI proffered PoC.

We present a concept of a ubiquitous industrial robot. It has been defined to consist of technologies of artificial intelligence, ubiquitous computing, sensor network and industrial robots. The advantages compared with current intelligent robots are that they are more autonomous and they have cognitive skills. A ubiquitous robot is interoperable with all sensors, computers and other devices aro...
